The iPhone 4 will be available in the UAE from both Etisalat and du from Saturday 25th. Sep., 2010.

Etisalat said customers can subscribe to the iPhone 4 with several different plans on one-year contracts. Customers can also get a free iPhone 4 16GB if they subscribe to Package 3, which includes unlimited data, 500 minutes of voice calls and 125 text.

Existing and new du customers will be able to get the iPhone 4 through a variety of monthly plans or on a prepaid plan. Du will also offer free data and some free credit for 12 months.

Etisalat has launched new intelligent software called eSupport. It identifies the common connectivity problems and automatically resolves them.

The eSupport software helps customers’ computer to become self – repairing device to solve basic connectivity problems.  For the very first time in the UAE, a du Pay as you Go® customer can now use a AED 200 recharge card and receive AED 320 instantly as credit to be used towards international calling. This is ‘more international’; the launch of an additional recharge option from du. It is a significant milestone in the evolution of mobile telephony in the UAE as a result of which a du mobile customer will be able to significantly reduce his or her international calling costs.

Apart from AED 200 denomination recharge card, other du recharge card denominations of AED 100, AED 50 and AED 20 will provide instant credits of AED 150, AED 70 and AED 26 respectively, to be used towards international calling. The’more international’ credits will have to be used up within specified validity periods and is applicable for both consumer and business customers.
