Nokia Middle East and Africa launches Ramadan applications for mobile users worldwide. The new applications are free and come preloaded in selected Nokia devices or as downloadable applications for a range of Nokia devices. According to Chris Braam, VP of Sales, Nokia Middle East and North Africa, the service has been expanded in response to the positive feedback it received last year.

The applications include Quran, Emsakya, Ramadaniat, Hajj & Umrah, Cards and Mozzaker.

Google has launched a set of special Ramadan specific gadgets and themes for iGoogle page. Now you can easily check prayer times, new recipes or use a zakaat calculator all from your iGoogle home page.

You can use two different Ramadan themes to decorate your home page, and  6 Ramadan specific gadgets in addition to the set of 30 gadgets that are already available in Arabic.
