Steve Jobs took the stage like he always does, to give us information about the new iPod line. A 16GB version, capable of playing back 24 hours of music or four hours of video, was launched for $US199.

The innovative “Genius” technology also automatically creates play-lists based on any chosen tune with one click, and suggests similar music.  By adding accelerometer technology that flips the display from vertical to horizontal. The accelerometer also served as the foundation for the Nano's most innovative feature "Shake to shuffle".
